Pacific History Association

The PHA welcomes members from all social science and humanities areas of the world academic community, including students, who have an interest in the Pacific and support the primary goal of the PHA: to promote the study, teaching and research of Pacific History and related subjects.

PHA membership currently runs from conference to conference. Membership for 2023-25 fell due at the 2023 conference at Warrnambool, Australia.

​

Persons who did not attend the Warrnambool conference and who wish to become financial members for 2023-25 should contact the Secretary/Treasurer (Dr Adrian Muckle; adrian.muckle[at]vuw.ac.nz) for payment instructions. The membership fees currently are:

• for all waged members: $NZ 40.00

• for low or unwaged members (including students and seniors): $NZ 10.00

 

Members receive access to the PHA newsletters. The membership fees help to provide a small subsidy for the organisation of the PHA’s conferences. They also help fund the PHA Teresia Teaiwa presentation prize, and assist with administrative costs.
